The Pompidou Centre welcomes a new model by Cassina.

The Ico chair, designed by Ora-Ito, has been added to the Pompidou Centre’s permanent collection alongside other iconic pieces by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, Toshiyuki Kita, Vico Magistretti, Gio Ponti, Gaetano Pesce and Gerrit T. Rietveld.
Ico, part of Cassina’s 2016 collection, enters the centre with 5 other emblematic pieces by the same designer thanks to the initiative of Marie-Ange Brayer, Curator of Design and Industrial Prospective.
This new entry particularly highlights the Pompidou Centre’s recognition of Cassina’s typical carpentry workmanship heritage and the visual lexicon of Ora-Ito’s studio.
