In the heart of Munich, Cassina Custom Interiors organised an event at the Neue Werkstätten store, entitled “Made in Italy: A Conversation with Matteo Thun”.  

The conversation between Oliver Jahn, Editor-in-Chief of AD Architectural Digest, and architect and designer Matteo Thun explored the contract world and in particular the projects that have marked his collaboration with the Cassina Custom Interiors division. Among the topics discussed, they reflected on environmental awareness, his source of inspiration and future projects. 

The event also featured an installation with Bixia, the chair designed this year by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana for the Cassina Custom Interiors contract catalogue. Characterised by its lightness and immediate tactility, this stackable wooden chair combines complex craftsmanship with essential aesthetics.
