Cassina takes part again in the exhibition Quirinale Contemporaneo 2021, the third edition of the project aimed at expanding and updating the image of the institutional headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic. The initiative brings together works of art and design representative of the contemporary era, from the birth of the Republic to today.
For the third chapter of this initiative, Cassina introduces the PA' 1947 console table, a design icon by the architect Ico Parisi. This elegant console table, which pays homage to Parisi's own nickname, "PA’'", is characterised by the unmistakable lines of its structure composed of Y-shaped legs.
PA' 1947 joins other iconic pieces from the Cassina collections presented in previous editions, such as the I Feltri sculptural armchairs by Gaetano Pesce, the Cicognino side table by Franco Albini, the La Rotonda coffee table by Mario Bellini and the Boboli table by Rodolfo Dordoni which is situated in the private study of the President Sergio Mattarella.
