Cassina launches a new advertising campaign which once again uniquely brings the product to the centre stage. The Other Conversation is a different point of view on design, an emotional and cultural journey which features the brand’s iconic products in alluring environments juxtaposed with striking interior architectures.
The campaign, which will launch in April 2016 in a selection of international newspapers and design, lifestyle and news magazines, will feature international locations, each with a very strong and distinctive architectural presence, designed by highly regarded architects on the international panorama of contemporary architecture.
The Shore House wooden haven by Mount Fuji Architects Studio
The campaign starts with the Shore House, a weekend home in Kanagawa, Japan, designed in 2013 by Mount Fuji Architects Studio based in Tokyo and winner of the JIA Young Architects Award in 2014. This breathtaking project which looks over the Pacific Ocean is particularly defined by the strong presence of wooden beams which recreate the harmony of the surrounding natural landscape.

Harmony between architecture and design interiors
In each shot, clean and precise, the setting is centred around the 8 sofa by Piero Lissoni or the Maralunga sofa by Vico Magistretti. Iconic elements and a series of design classics from the collections create a complete living area which expresses the pure and sophisticated style characteristic of the Cassina brand, integrating perfectly with the architects’ intentions in creating a harmonious project.
