Frank Lloyd Wright designed this dining table for the home of Henry J. Allen, the governor and state senator for Kansas. The Allen House was one of Wright’s last prairie-style houses. Its substantial and imposing structure restates the concept of space without neglecting a reference to tradition, as can be seen in the elegance of the rectangular shape in wood. The table is available in natural cherrywood, stained walnut, or Canaletto walnut, in two lengths; these correspond to the original design.
