A PLAY ON PERSPECTIVES
Part of a collection of designer mirrors, hybrid objects of great construction mastery, created by Ron Gilad combining constructive engineering and fine cabinet-making. The Deadline mirror “SHREDDED A3" by Cassina consists of two sheets of glass with a space of 12 mm and a frame in ash wood. The frame is available in natural ash and black dyed.

The glass panes have silver (reflective) stripes on the front which are slightly shifted on each layer. The backside of the stripes is lacquered in blue, which is reflected by the pane on the back, creating fascinating graphical effects, which change depending on the angle you look at them. The removable frame allows the cleaning of the mirror and is equipped with visible joints that enhance the carpentry.
