SCULPTED LIGHT

A reinterpretation of the Fluid Joinery - Side Table I inspired an expressive table lamp suspended between sculptural solidity and luminous transparency. While retaining the formal essence of the design, the volume becomes a light source that emphasises the curved organic lines of the mouth-blown coloured glass.

2026

Fluid Joinery Light emerges as a poetic reinterpretation of the Fluid Joinery - Side Table I introduced in 2025, and preserves its formal essence but in more compact proportions.

Like the side table, the lamp is also the result of complex, refined artisan workmanship: crafted from a single volume of mouth-blown, hand-finished glass, its appearance changes when the light is on and when it is off, thanks to the cased glass composed of three layers (transparent, opal white and tinted transparent).

The effect is an expressive piece that emits a soft glow, embellished by engravings and grooves in the glass.

I CONTEMPORANEI

Linde Freya Tangelder

Within the works of Destroyers/Builders an interaction between the furniture pieces exists in an overarching inspiration; found in architectural elements, materials or building techniques. Linde Freya Tangelder, founder of the studio, strives for sensory relevance and cultural value in detail and on a larger scale. The works have a sculptural and architectural character, and balance between contemporary and traditional elements.
