Swivel at the core

An icon with an aptitude for versatility and functionality designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her Paris atelier in Place Saint-Sulpice.

 The design was first exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1928 and then at the Salon d'Automne in 1929, and is now part of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection.

Structure-frame

Coating

The swivel armchair features backrest and seat cushion padded in polyurethane foam and polyester batting, with leather or fabric upholstery. Since 2016, the armchair has undergone a major structural update that led to obtaining Catas certification.

BASE

Frame with 5 legs in tubular steel, polished chrome or painted finish

Padding

Foam fill. Resin treated polyester fibre batting laminated to fabric lining.

Upholstery

Fabric or leather. Black nylon cord to secure the upholstery.
