AN ALUMINIUM FLOWER FOR THE OUTDOORS

A round table with an architectural flourish: sophisticated, intricate and with a flair for drama. Following the first model in 2003 and the wood version in 2017, Lebeau goes outdoors with an aluminium version that reflects the same distinctive design and iconic silhouette.

PRODUCTION YEAR

2022

The first project of French designer Patrick Jouin for Cassina in 2003, the iconic, innovative Lebeau table was reinterpreted in 2017 in a tactile version with base in solid ash. Its fluid organic shape, achieved through a lengthy, meticulous process of curving and assembling the staves, was accomplished through the extraordinary ability and expertise of the Cassina joinery, which combined high-technology and artisan craftsmanship to produce a lightweight, sculptural architecture that blossoms like a flower.

Today, Lebeau Outdoor continues on this evolving technical and aesthetic journey with a new version suited to outdoor living. It maintains the expressive originality of its archetype through the use of a material selected for its durability, light weight and long life: aluminium.

Based on painstaking structural research, the table retains its iconic silhouette but with an updated design in which the number of staves is pared down from 22 to ten. Crafted in cast aluminium, their exquisite workmanship is especially noticeable in the ten veins that the designer intentionally left exposed inside the staves.

In a crescendo of proportions, this architectural structure branches out from the central column with staves that become thinner as they converge toward the centre, creating an enchanting visual symphony as light passes through them.
A lively dialogue between the tactility of the materials and the combination of expressive colours.

Regular use of protective covers, available for separate purchase, helps preserve the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the outdoor product.

However, it is recommended to place products intended for outdoor use in controlled environments such as verandas and covered or partially covered terraces, avoiding full exposure to direct sunlight and weather conditions.
