PRODUCTION YEAR
A piece of design history that conveys Cassina’s exceptionally fine wood craftsmanship. A chaise longue with a sinuous, welcoming, organic shape, originally made from bamboo.
An innovative project from 1940, put into production in 2011, crafted by Charlotte Perriand during her stay in Japan as a re-imagining of the 4 Chaise longue à reglage continu based on her concept of the marriage between human Rationalism and Nature.
Available in bamboo and teak, the chaise top is made up of 12 curved slats and a wood lath cradle, joined by fasteners in satin-finish brass.
