LIMITED EDITIONS: COLOUR IS KEY

In celebration of this anniversary, the first four models of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection - the 1 Fauteuil dossier basculant small armchair, the 2 Fauteuil Grand Confort, petit modèle and 3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, grand modèle armchairs and the 4 Chaise longue à réglage continu - are now available for a limited period of time in three new colourways.

Red, blue and glossy green frames combined with ton-sur-ton mohair velvet for the armchairs and self-supporting saddle leather for the chaise-longue and sling-back armchair, define these contemporary pieces that can be ordered up until September 2026.

Studied together with the Le Corbusier Foundation and the heirs of Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, these special editions, part of the ‘durable’ series produced with circular materials in favour of greater sustainability, highlight the importance of colour for the designers and result in a fresh and even more actual proposal for today’s home.

STAGING MODERNITY

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the production of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection edited by Cassina, Formafantasma produced an artistic installation and theatrical performance at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber, paying tribute to the company’s avant-garde legacy.

This thoughtful and provocative event called into question the dissonance between modernist ideals and the contemporary world, inviting visitors to reflect on an ever-evolving vision that moves away from the industrial and rational, to embrace a wild and natural ecology.

During Milan Design Week 2025, a theatrical experience, an integral part of the installation, was brought to life by the director Fabio Cherstich. The performance was based on three original texts commissioned respectively to philosopher Emanuele Coccia, architect, writer and curator Andrés Jaque and architect and artist Feifei Zhou (terriStories).

Safeguarding authenticity

Since the very beginning, the models from the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection have been marked with a progressive production number, an innovative means of acknowledging their artistic value and ensuring that their authenticity can be traced and verified.
