LC8 Siège tournant, tabouret

Design Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand

ICONIC SIMPLICITY

Part of the Collection Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, the iconic LC8 Siège tournant, tabouret swivel stool draws inspiration from the LC7 Siège tournant, fauteuil chair designed by Charlotte Perriand for her Paris apartment in Place Saint-Sulpice and that was part of the furnishings exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in 1929.

The iconic shape and versatility of the LC8 Siège Tournant, Tabouret design stool reflects Charlotte Perriand’s desire to simplify mass production by employing common elements. The structure in chrome-plated or painted steel is tempered by the padded seat upholstered in leather or fabric.
