Taliesin 1

Design Frank Lloyd Wright

Origami in wood

Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1949 for the living room in his home-studio in Arizona, Taliesin 1 is a design armchair obtained by folding a single surface in plywood, like origami.

The embodiment of artisan craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies in wood processing, the armchair is distinguished by its complex structure, defined by angled components joined in such a way as to ensure stability and balance.
