During the 2021 edition of the Elle Decoration International Design Awards, Collection Chandigarh, Cassina's first dinner set developed in collaboration with Ginori 1735 and the Le Corbusier Foundation, received an EDIDA 2021 award for the Tableware category. Inspired by the genius of Le Corbusier, Collection Chandigarh consists of three trays - square, round and rectangular - in matt white porcelain with a biscuit effect, that feature bas-relief symbols taken from the walls of buildings in Chandigarh, the city he designed in the 1950s and now a world heritage site. The hand, the eternal symbol of peace, the fish and the solar movement are the three decorative symbols that give shape to the simple, minimal motifs impressed on the unglazed porcelain of Collection Chandigarh.
