the collaboration between Cassina and Italian artist Pietro Terzini continues at Design Miami with the transformation of the store’s external column, customised each year with artistic interventions since its opening in 2023. This year, it features the phrase “Are you in love? No, I’m in Miami”, an ironic provocation that highlights how, in today’s world, emotional depth and relationships are often replaced by place and status. Renowned for his works featuring bold, hand-drawn messages that spark reflection, Terzini here invites viewers to engage in a critical analysis of themselves and society.

Following the success of the ME FROM OUTSIDE mirror collection presented during Milan Design Week, Terzini unveils two new messages for Design Miami: “You are art”, an affirmation of beauty and aesthetic value that draws attention to how we present ourselves to the world, and “No risk no story”, a call to push beyond one’s limits and step out of one’s confort zone.
Produced in 100 numbered pieces each, these mirrors extend the dialogue between object and observer through reflection and the thoughts it provokes.
They are displayed in a scenographically arranged area of the store that enhances their narrative power and encourages visitors to post their photos on social media, becoming themselves a vehicle for the artist’s vision.
