The Cassina Perspective 2026

Cassina Invito Website HP 5760×2100

This year, the Cassina Store Milano focuses on the concept of material intelligence, establishing a harmonious dialogue between architectural details and the finishes of the products on display.

The enveloping forms of Ardys, the new upholstered system by Patricia Urquiola, are echoed in the window display through wall reliefs that highlight its modularity and versatility of use, while surfaces recall the newly introduced lacquers, such as those of the Plana low table by Charlotte Perriand.

A discreet presence accompanies visitors through the Milan store, guiding them in the discovery of the new 2026 Collection. The Ghost-Wall interior project by Mikal Harrsen traces a path through the space, from the living and dining areas to the bedroom and walk-in wardrobe, showcasing the potential of this wall system that offers an infinite range of fully customisable solutions. A versatile proposal that integrates seamlessly into, and almost disappears within, its surroundings through the application of the wallpaper designed by Patricia Urquiola onto the panels, emphasising a continuous and coherent visual whole.

A curated colour palette dominates the entire space, from the staircase, the store's focal point, upholstered in aubergine-coloured faux fur, to the room tinged in Zucca yellow dedicated to the new lighting projects, where designs by Charles and Ray Eames, Neri & Hu, Angelo Mangiarotti and Linde Freya Tangelder engage in harmonious dialogue. This year, the iconic dome also takes centre stage, hosting six emblematic pieces all upholstered in the same oil-coloured velvet, united in a timeless dimension where they continue to remain contemporary.

The new collection unfolds as a narrative of eclectic design reflecting “The Cassina Perspective” philosophy, featuring products by Chiara Andreatti, Formafantasma, Gaetano Pesce and Philippe Starck in welcoming domestic settings. Particular attention has been paid to the new pieces from Karakter x Cassina: in the window, the AB Dining table by Aldo Bakker is paired with the reissue of the CH66 chair by Nicos Zographos, while moving inside, the scenographic Peacock Chair by Verner Panton, presented on the centenary of his birth, particularly stands out. Finally, the 780/783 low tables by Gianfranco Frattini are proposed in new finishes, also in celebration of the centenary of their author.

On the first-floor terrace, an oasis of comfort has been recreated with the 2026 Outdoor Collection, offering a refined space of quietude where one can relax and regenerate during the hustle and bustle of Milan Design Week.

Lastly, in the spirit of shared values, a collaboration with Persol is presented, bringing to life an expression of style, design culture and unprecedented creativity, born from the dialogue between past and present, craftsmanship and innovation, heritage and the avant-garde.
