The Mex project takes a step up with particular attention to the environment
Following the success of Mex Cube designed by Piero Lissoni in 2007, the collection expands to host the same model in a high version.
Mex-Hi is a versatile modular system that adapts to different spaces thanks to the variety of elements and
configurations available. Its large volumes are defined by soft, extremely comfortable padding, like the Mex Cube,
all raised from the ground thanks to a simple yet sophisticated metal structure.
Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB...
a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and Poli.design at the Milan Polytechnic,
a 100% recycled fibre, made from PET mainly recovered from the sea, has been incorporated in the cushion padding of Mex-Hi in respect of
the environment, making it even more comfortable.
A freestanding coffee table and a large pouf/ table, with the same structure as the sofa, completes the proposal.
