LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL: THE CASSINA PERSPECTIVE 2022

With the start of London Design Festival 2022, from the 17th of September, Cassina presents the new collection in its London store located on Brompton Road.

This year, the Cassina London Showroom is the setting for new collaborations with Antonio Citterio, who debuts with the Esosoft sofa system displayed in the main windows, Formafantasma and Linde Freya Tangelder, and features new designs by Rodolfo Dordoni, Charlotte Perriand and Patricia Urquiola. In addition, the Cassina Details collection, a new catalogue of accessories and small furnishing to complete all areas of the home, is also presented.

Among the new products on show is Mikal Harrsen's first project for Cassina: Ghost Wall. Versatile and with broad appeal, this clever wall unit is all about creativity and is open to infinite interpretations of use. Its decorative panels come in various types of lacquered or veneered wood, mirrored or back-lacquered glass, fabric, and even in a customisable version to which one's own decoration can be applied.

Thanks to this system’s versatility, Cassina has collaborated with designer Bethan Laura Wood to apply a customised wallpaper, created specifically for London Design Festival. Like the canvas of a painting, Ghost Wall depicts her drawing of a stylised flower that has been enlarged to decorate this large and unique wall. As the system's name suggests, this wall unit is almost invisible due to its reduced depth, allowing for a wide range of use and innovative applications.

Ghost Wall is completed by a vast range of accessories and complementary pieces that fit perfectly into various areas of the home, starting from the entrance, leading to the living room and onto the bedroom and wardrobe.
