Tobia Scarpa: Design e gusto della tavola italiana
An exhibit dedicated to Venetian architect Tobia Scarpa: Design e gusto della tavola italiana (Design and Taste of the Italian Table), conceptualised and curated by Cintya Concari and Roberto Marcatti in collaboration with Studio Scarpa.
FROM 22 JULY TO 20 OCTOBER 2023 - Power Station of Art Shangai
The retrospective "Paris Moderne 1914-1945: Architecture, Design, Film, Fashion" looks back at the emergence and prosperity of modernity in Paris during the Golden Age from a richly interwoven perspective.
In honour of the 50th anniversary of the Cassina iMaestri Collection, the company presents 'Echoes, 50 years of iMaestri', curated by Art Director Patricia Urquiola with Federica Sala, on exhibit at Palazzo Broggi from 17th to 21st April, 2023.
At the Pavia Civic Museums, organised by the city of Pavia, by the Order of Architects and the Poggi factory.
An exhibit designed to promote awareness of an important chapter in the history of Italian design that, in Pavia, highlighted a key connection between the Milanese Maestri and products by Roberto Poggi. One of the leading designers in the Poggi company was Franco Albini.
A pioneer of modernity, architect and designer Charlotte Perriand was committed to defining an entirely new art de vivre that would break with the traditional codes of her era.
Cassina, continuously committed to the diffusion of the culture of design, has participated in this event with loans from its collection, making available pieces by artists who collaborated with Gavina for the company Simon.
A tribute to this total work of art and also a time-travel experience to rediscover the topics that inspire the contemporary world. Cassina, with Patricia Urquiola, produces an enormous table: The Communal Table, a place for sharing among people and the arts, true to the ethos of Balla and the Futurists.
An exhibition that brings together for the first time the entire work of Vico Magistretti: from beginnings to maturity, from architecture to installations, from design to urban planning. An intertwining of stories including the one with Cassina with which the architect had a long relationship that gave life to iconic models.
In conjunction with the 2021 edition of the Biennale and thanks to a partnership with the Wilmotte Foundation, the Refuge Tonneau is on display in Venice to contribute to the dissemination of architectural works.
Produced for this remarkable show, thanks to support from Cassina, some reconstructions of furniture by Charlotte Perriand and the first reconstruction of the interiors of the Salon d'Automne. This legendary installation, designed in 1929 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, marked a turning point in how the interior spaces of homes were perceived.
A multidisciplinary journey that lasted almost 60 years – between design, architecture, exhibition design and much more. A retrospective inaugurated exactly 30 years after that dedicated to him by the MoMA in New York in 1987.
Cassina celebrates its 90th anniversary and transforms this precious moment into a cultural reflection on the future of interior design with an installation by Patricia Urquiola that goes beyond the concept of a static exhibit to engage visitors in an interactive, metaphorical journey that expands the boundaries of modernity and opens the doors to new concepts in living.
The “Made in Cassina” exhibition was set up at Mori Art Museum, home to prestigious exhibitions dedicated to Asian and international contemporary art located in the Roppongi district in Tokyo. The exhibition traced the 80 years of history that have made Cassina the world's leading brand in modern and contemporary design.
The “Le Corbusier’s Cabanon The Interior 1:1” exhibitionwas the first collaboration between Cassina and RIBA. Both partners share a clear understanding of the impact Le Corbusier had on 20th Century design and his continuing influence on society, modern culture and the way in which we live.
The show celebrates 80 years of history. A cultural voyage by Cassina – through its production and technical engineering spaces, through products and prototypes – that grew out of close collaboration with the designers to project the company’s creativity and that of Italian design into the future.
The exhibition, in the garden of the Triennale Milano, featured the reconstruction of the actual interior of the Cabanon, which Le Corbusier planned and built in 1952 for his holidays at Cap-Martin, an apparently unpretentious sea-side hut, but comprising a remarkable exampleof micro-architecture, full of meaning.
