PRODUCTION YEAR

2020

Designed as a private bedroom paradise, the Bio-mbo bed reinvents the concept of intimacy, thanks to its distinctive, comfortable upholstered headboard with horizontal quilting. It is also available in a wall-mount version, with independent bed base on casters and two mobile side wings with storage pockets and leather handles - all of which combine to create a nighttime sanctuary. Based on research conducted by Cassina LAB, the bed is also equipped with wellness functions that provide zero-emission air purification and absorb sound to promote proper rest. The former is achieved through the use of theBreath® purifying fabric, the first patented technology to purify the air at zero emissions, that captures and breaks down contaminants to encourage the natural circulation of clean air; the latter, through the inclusion of Soundfil® sound-absorbing panels, a recycled, hygienic, nontoxic material, capable of limiting and diminishing vibrational sound frequencies. The Bio-mbo model can be adapted to suit all types of rooms: the high or low headboard is also available with quilted back (for placement in the centre of the room), or without quilting or storage pockets, and without side wings, for a total of eight versions. Completing the bed are an optional light, Bio-mbo bedside table with side structure in curved metal and a single supporting leg, and the Rondos cabinet in two sizes.
