PRODUCTION YEAR

2020

Patricia Urquiola interprets the joy of open-air living with a playfully designed outdoor collection; filled with soft, curvy shapes, it takes a conscious approach to the environment by using innovative, circular materials developed through research conducted by Cassina LAB, born from the collaboration with POLI.design at the Milan Polytechnic.

The armchair structure is in AISI 304 painted stainless steel that supports panels in RFM®, a hand-finished recycled fibreglass material; the backrest features handcrafted polypropylene and nylon woven cord while the backrest cushions and seat cushion are padded with PET-derived recycled fibre wadding. A distinctive decorative element, the optional fringe on the cushions is available in the same shade as the cord.

Regular use of protective covers, available for separate purchase, helps preserve the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the outdoor product.

However, it is recommended to place products intended for outdoor use in controlled environments such as verandas and covered or partially covered terraces, avoiding full exposure to direct sunlight and weather conditions.
