ABSOLUTE FUNCTIONALITY

Designed in 1966 by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina, the 780/783 coffee tables soon became an emblem of 1960s design. Functional and versatile, they are composed of four elements of progressively decreasing height that stack neatly to form a compact, space-saving volume.
Marking the centenary of Frattini’s birth, they are introduced in a new colour palette for Karakter x Cassina.

PRODUCTION YEAR

1985

Developed by Gianfranco Frattini, the series includes four stackable low tables – 42 and 61 cm in diameter, with decreasing heights – in a unique, compact form whose sculptural appearance is reminiscent of the shape of a drum.

In addition to the original walnut-stained beechwood version, the coffee tables are also available with matt lacquered finish in the colours Apricot and Pinot Noir.

All of the bases can be paired with either a two-tone laminate top – Chocolate on one side and Beige on the other, that can be flipped to vary the colour composition – or a Smoke Grey glass top that lends visual lightness and depth.
