PRODUCTION YEAR

2025

Designed by Antonio Citterio for the Cassina Outdoor Collection, Esosoft Outdoor brings the timeless elegance of the original design outdoors through a renewed interpretation of materials and functionality. The two- and three-seater sofas are inspired by a visual and textural contrast: the exoskeleton of the base supports a hand-woven synthetic fibre basket, reminiscent of traditional craftsmanship and offering a strong aesthetic presence in outdoor spaces.

Inside the structure, soft cushions can be placed freely on the seat or against the backrest, promoting dynamic and customisable comfort. Cassina LAB has used circular materials for the padding, combining polyurethane with a percentage of bio-based polyols and recycled PET wadding, coupled with water-repellent frames to protect the cushions from the elements.

The Esosoft Outdoor system is now expanding with the introduction of a new sunbed, which extends Antonio Citterio's design language to the reclining dimension of open-air relaxation. Armchairs, sofas, coffee tables and sunbeds thus constitute a complete catalogue of elements for outdoor living, capable of responding with elegance and comfort to the multiple needs of outdoor living.

Regular use of protective covers, available for separate purchase, helps preserve the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the outdoor product.
However, it is recommended to place products intended for outdoor use in controlled environments such as verandas and covered or partially covered terraces, avoiding full exposure to direct sunlight and weather conditions.

Cassina chooses not to treat outdoor woods in order to maximize their natural quality.
Exposure to weather conditions may cause surface oxidation, resulting in the formation of a patina.
This patina can be removed with specific treatments.
