The Tsé series embodies the essence of quiet moments, offering a graceful porcelain service ideal for coffee and tea. The fine and delicate designs came to life through a collaboration with Taiwanese designer Pili Wu and Taipei-based HAN Gallery, led by the creative direction of Dutch designer Gijs Bakker.
Together with a shortlist of designers from around the world, they dug into the rich heritage of Chinese culture, investigating how to combine traditional and modern production methods while presenting unique works of art. Crafted with the highest precision, the resulting set is inspired by the distinctive rippled pattern seen on disposable plastic cups in Taiwanese eateries.
Each piece is meticulously hand-polished, resulting in a captivating texture that contrasts with the porcelain’s airy nature.
