THE NEW APERITIF TEMPLE IN VENICE, WITH A PROJECT BY STUDIO VUDAFIERI-SAVERINO PARTNERS

Terrazza Aperol

The unmistakable shades of orange, the emblematic colour of the Aperol Spritz, highlight the evocative Campo Santo Stefano in Venice where the new Terrazza Aperol opened its doors on the 31st of August. Cassina Custom Interiors has furnished this new space, in collaboration with the architects of Studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, producing the furniture for both the interiors and exterior.

The interiors of Terrazza Aperol are divided in two different areas: the bacaro and the bistro bar. Framed by Venetian-style mirrors, the bacaro is furnished with characteristic high benches and wall-mounted folding tables designed for the project by Cassina Custom Interiors just like the bar’s tables and chairs.

The focal point of the interiors is the scenographic L-shaped bar that connects the bacaro and the bistro. Produced by Cassina Custom Interiors, the bar has a Corian® top and surfaces covered with 3D-printed, recycled polycarbonate panels in the shade of ‘Aperol orange’, the leitmotif of the interior design. A large, mirrored bottle rack covers the wall behind the bar, while glass shelves with an orange-painted metal profile are used to display the bottles.

A few steps away from the Accademia Bridge, the large outside area that overlooks Campo Santo Stefano is furnished with tables and chairs designed by the architects, all produced by Cassina, together with the mobile Aperol cart used for the preparation of Aperol Spritz.
