1 Fauteuil dossier basculant

Design Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand

DIGNIFIED RELAXATION

A chair with timeless design that draws upon colonial styles for inspiration. Light weight and compact, the timeless shape of Fauteuil dossier basculant was introduced in 1929 at the Salon d’Automne along with other iconic pieces like Fauteuils Grand Confort, petit modèle and grand modèle, la Table tube d’avion and Chaise longue à reglage continu.

Like all of Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand’s works, the Fauteuil dossier basculant armchair stems from in-depth study of human posture and is engineered to provide perfect support for dignified relaxation and that, thanks to the tilting backrest, puts one in the mood for conversation.
