PRODUCTION YEAR
Designed in 1955 by Ico Parisi for a private home in the Como area, the Olimpino table, an extremely complex and sculptural piece of furniture, was designed as the focal point in the home.
This iconic glass-topped table has a streamlined, recognizable metal support structure, combined with unique details like the brass side-stopper and solid wood feet that Cassina rediscovered and re-edited, thanks to lengthy philological research.
Large brass screws embellish the table’s architecture, further defining the singularity of this bold, magnetic modern piece of furniture, that echoes the stylistic features typical of the 1950s.
