PRODUCTION YEAR
A piece of design history that conveys Cassina’s exceptionally fine wood craftsmanship. A chaise longue with a sinuous, welcoming, organic shape, originally made from bamboo.
An innovative project from 1940, put into production in 2011, crafted by Charlotte Perriand during her stay in Japan as a re-imagining of the LC4 based on her concept of the marriage between human Rationalism and Nature.
Available in bamboo and teak, the chaise top is made up of 12 curved slats and a wood lath cradle, joined by fasteners in satin-finish brass.
