2025
Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Vidalenta is a modern and versatile collection designed for outdoor living and dining areas. The design project has its roots in an invitation to pause and slow down, to escape from the frenzy of daily life, and is distinguished by an enveloping aesthetic that transmits an immediate sense of comfort.
The Vidalenta armchair is part of the outdoor living system designed by Patricia Urquiola and shares a design language that is based on the balance between softness and rigour. It is available in three versions: a lounge chair with low backrest, one with a high backrest and a version with low backrest and armrests.
The soft, voluminous cushions rest with natural ease upon a base composed of slender, almost thread-like, metal tubing characterised by particularly eloquent constructional precision.
The padding is made of polyurethane with a percentage of recycled polyols and recycled polyester fibre wadding and, in a sinuous curve, rests upon the structure, allowing a flap to fold over the backrest, a detail that softens the silhouette and makes the design immediately recognisable.
Consistent use of the protective covers, available for separate purchase, helps to preserve the aesthetic and functional features of the outdoor product.
However, it is advisable to place products intended for outdoor use in controlled environments such as porches and covered or partially covered terraces, avoiding full exposure to sunlight and weather conditions.
