During Milan Design Week, the Strucchi x Cassina Café presents “The Seating Collection”, a new cocktail list inspired by four iconic armchairs from Cassina’s catalogue, displayed in the store’s characteristic dome and reinterpreted in liquid form.

Each drink has been conceived like a Cassina product: balanced, aesthetic and functional. Their lines, volumes and materials become liquid suggestions through the use of aroma, colour and texture. Geometries are reflected in the balance of flavours, while surfaces find expression in unexpected textures. The result is a multisensory narrative that blends form and taste into a contemporary language. 

Tre Pezzi, the armchair designed by Franco Albini with Franca Helg, is translated into an enveloping composition made up of three main elements that reflect the piece’s tripartite structure. 

Soriana, conceived by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, has been interpreted as a soft presence, where generous and welcoming forms correspond to a light, balanced and deeply contemporary blend.

The Grand Confort, inspired by the iconic 2 Fauteuil Grand Confort, petit modèle by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, expresses the perfect balance between rigour and comfort through a complex and measured blend, where structure and softness coexist.

Finally, the Utrecht armchair by Gerrit T. Rietveld is reinterpreted through essential geometric grammar, reflected in a clean and contemporary twist on the classic gimlet.

Completing the drink list is the signature cocktail Perspective Shake, inspired by the brand ‘s philosophy “The Cassina Perspective”, resulting in a citrusy, spicy and profound drink.
