On Tuesday 23^rd of September, the Cassina Store Milano hosted “Investing in Sustainability: a Dialogue Between Design and Real Estate”, organised for the release of the company’s fourth Sustainability Report. During the conversation experiences and concrete solutions were shared, highlighting how sustainability has become a strategic driver, capable of redefining the very concept of value for clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

The event saw the participation of Luca Fuso, CEO of the Design Division at HAWORTH Lifestyle, Claudia Soravia, Head of Investment Division & Technical Director at YARD REAAS Group, Patricia Urquiola, architect, designer and Cassina’s Art Director and moderator Marco Capellini, CEO of Matrec and expert in circular economy.

The discussion emphasised how designing, building and producing today means taking responsibility for social and environmental challenges. Concepts such as ESG and Circular Economy are no longer just slogans but concrete principles on which a sustainable future must be built and integrated from the earliest stages of any project.

From real estate to design, these indications are already generating tangible transformations: investments, architecture and design are assuming a decisive role in creating sustainable value that goes beyond purely functional and aesthetic dimensions.
