LIKE A TAILOR-MADE GARMENT
“A new kind of chair, made entirely of saddle-hide, often cloned today.” This is how Mario Bellini describes the best-selling Cab chair, developed in the golden age of Italian design and today an iconic piece in the I Contemporanei collection.

DESIGNER
Cab is the first saddle-hide chair with a free-standing structure, inspired by the relationship between the skeleton and the skin. The individual pieces of saddle-hide are stitched together and the upholstery is then molded to a steel skeleton and closed with zippers, like a custom-tailored suit.
