Ombra

Design Charlotte Perriand

Ingenuity and elegance

A design armchair tailored to deliver extreme comfort in a sleek shape, derived from a steel plate frame and two cushions with pure, minimalist lines, placed perpendicular to each other.

Charlotte Perriand designed Ombra in 1953, revisiting the structural shape of the eponymous chair produced using curved plywood and maintaining the same balance between expression, shape and technique.
