THE ‘VIDALENTA’ ACCORDING TO PATRICIA URQUIOLA

The Vidalenta sofa interprets the outdoors as a peaceful retreat to enjoy. A system for the living area with an enveloping aesthetic, in which the softness of the upholstery and the rigour of the structure interact in a measured balance.

PRODUCTION YEAR

2025

Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Vidalenta is a modern and versatile outdoor collection dedicated to living and dining areas. The project was conceived as an invitation to pause and slow down, escaping the rush of everyday life, and stands out for its enveloping aesthetic that conveys an immediate sense of comfort.

The outdoor living system is built on a calibrated balance between the welcoming softness of the padding and the rigorous discipline of the structure. The soft, voluminous cushions rest naturally on a base composed of tapered, almost thread-like metal tubes, defined by a particularly evocative construction precision.

The padding is made of polyurethane with a percentage of recycled polyols and recycled polyester fibre wadding and, in a sinuous gesture, rests on the structure, leaving a flap visible on the back of the backrests and armrests, a detail that softens the profile and makes the design immediately recognisable.

Regular use of protective covers, available for separate purchase, helps preserve the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the outdoor product.
However, it is recommended to place products intended for outdoor use in controlled environments such as verandas and covered or partially covered terraces, avoiding full exposure to direct sunlight and weather conditions.
