The unmistakable signature of Philippe Starck on a bed with a majestic, material presence, with headboard in one size only and in three luxurious types of wood: mahogany, polished ebony and matte sycamore.

Developed for each of these types of wood is a selection of finishes that draws upon precious material choices and intense, elegant shades of colour. As with the parent bed in the series, both sides of the headboard are equipped with a cast-aluminium bar with a large fabric lampshade and a small dimmable LED spotlight that can be aimed at will. The two floating bedside tables have a marble top and wooden drawer in the same finish as the headboard, equipped with two electrical sockets or USB ports.

Volage EX-S Night Wood echoes the aesthetic and saddlery details of the Somewhere EL-S Collection, like the ivory-colour stitching and thick grainy leather that clads the bedframe. The interior of the latter can be provided with theBreath® air-purifying fabric, the first patented air purification technology that captures and breaks down contaminants to encourage well-being and the natural circulation of clean air.
