Lie Out by Rodolfo Dordoni is an outdoor sunbed with a simple yet elegant structure, a fine example of personality and style for outdoor areas.
The solid teak is shaped into large slats that lend the piece an ideal mix of sturdiness and elegance. The metal parts that control adjustment of the headrest mechanism are in painted AISI 304 stainless steel.
The soft comfortable topper is reversible and can be used on both sides. The finely tailored fabric is enhanced around the entire perimeter with grey grosgrain piping.
Regular use of protective covers, available for separate purchase, helps preserve the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the outdoor product.
However, it is recommended to place products intended for outdoor use in controlled environments such as verandas and covered or partially covered terraces, avoiding full exposure to direct sunlight and weather conditions.
Cassina chooses not to treat outdoor woods in order to maximize their natural quality.
Exposure to weather conditions may cause surface oxidation, resulting in the formation of a patina.
This patina can be removed with specific treatments.

Born in 1954, member of the Milanese tradition that generated designers such as Castiglioni, Zanuso, Magistretti and de Lucchi, graduated in architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 1979.Since then, he has designed for most of the leading names in the furniture and lighting sectors.For some of these, as head of design, he sets and co-ordinates the strategy of the product.
